New Carnival Showcase #4

I'm delighted to be hosting this months edition of New Carnival Showcase, a round up of new blog carnivals. Last month's edition can be found here at Carnival Buzz.

First out of the hat this month is Attention Deficit Disorder Carnival. There is a growing number of blogs about "attention deficit disorder"and the organizers hope that this carnival will create a blog community for others to share information and their feelings about ADD.

Attention Deficit Disorder Carnival #3 is hosted at Living with ADD by Tara McGillicuddy, an ADD Coach and Woman with ADD. Tara features posts that look at many aspects of this condition, including how sufferers cope with boredom or money management, why females often go undiagnosed, and how it is to live with a spouse of teenager with ADD.

You can find links to past editions or submit articles at the ADD carnival index page.

Carnival of Kid Comedy shares the joy and giggles of raising children and lets you read about the funny things that children say and do. Carnival of Kid Comedy #3 is hosted by Kim at Life in a shoe: the methods and madness of one mother of 7.

Radical Progressive Carnival is for those who are dedicated to upholding a sincere and fundamental respect for humanity in all its forms. It's a place for writers, intellectuals, feminists, philosophers, people of color, the queer, the strange, artists, and others.

The first edition is hosted at Julius Speaks and examines the shortcomings in the mainstream news media and looks at an assessment of violence as a tool for liberation.

Carnival of Bauer is a weekly roundup of 24-related posts and is hosted on Blogs4Bauer, which claims to be the premier blog on the subject of 24. The Carnival of Bauer!!! Week 5 features more than a dozen posts, all about a tv show I had never heard of, let alone watched. For a fan blog, some of the topics seem a tad critical, such as the "Top 10 Things That Have Really Gotten Old on 24" and Al's list of some of his "24 Annoyances".

And just in case the last item wasn't tricky enough for your reviewer to figure out, how about a blog carnival that is in two languages and posted on three blogs?

The Carnival of German-American Relations aims to promote dialogue between Americans and Europeans on important transatlantic issues. Posts are in either English or German. Each carnival is published on American and German blogs. I'll let Joerg Wolf explain:

"Our carnival last week took place at American Future in English, and at Statler & Waldorf in German. Statler and Waldorf introduced both English and German submissions. Since American Future only introduced English submissions, Atlantic Review hosted the carnival as well and introduced German and English submission in English. Atlantic Review is a German blog, but written in English, and is edited by three German Fulbright Alumni who organize the carnival. We have our own Carnival Submissions Blog"

Well folks, that's it for this months New Carnival Showcase. If you have a new blog carnival that you would like featured next time out, please use the submission form.
