creators carnival #23
ungraspable presents Top Three Ways to Break Into A Major Publication posted at Savvy Writer.
Susan Borgas presents Water's Path - Willochra Creek "Completed" posted at Arts & Stuff, saying, "As my work as an realist artist does promote the Flinders Ranges and hope that viewers of my work will consider visiting this region. There is nothing like sitting under a gum tree with a cool drink in one hand and a camera or drawing tool in another along with some flies for company. What more can anyone want!"
artThailand presents New work from Vichian Boonmeemak posted at artThailand, saying, "We have just taken delivery of 22 new pieces of work by Vichian Boonmeemak. All of the work is available for view at our gallery in Bangkok and has also been loaded onto the artThailand website. Vichian’s work is highly accomplished and very pleasing on the eye. Rich in symbolism they represent the artist’s path towards the perfect soul or, to put it within the appropriate Buddhist context, the road to nirvana."
Cyndi presents It wasn’t easy to make Queasy! posted at Bead Arts, saying, "Who would have ever thought that you'd learn so much by trying to make something ugly!"
Samir Bharadwaj presents Rediscover The Pure Pleasure Of Paper Crafts And Pop Up Cards posted at SamirBharadwaj.com.
Mike Estep PhD presents Talent is Overrated posted at Mike Estep.com, saying, "The willingness to work and learn can cover a multitude of lack in other areas... including talent."
That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of
carnival of the creators using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page. Next month the carnival will be at Indigoskye Bead Fashions.
If you would like to host an edition, please send me a message. We really do need more volunteer hosts to give the carnival a wider audience.

The carnival has been tagged
Carnival of the Creators was recently tagged by Cyndi Lavin for a Thinking Blogger Award!
Thank you Cyndi, an honour indeed that should be shared with all the contributors to the carnival and most particularly all the bloggers who have hosted the carnival over the last year or so.
In return, I have to nominate 5 more blogs for the award, so here is my selection:
- Luann Udell, Durable Goods
- Dennis Stevens, Redefining Craft
- Lisa Hunter, The Intrepid Art Collector
- Gabe Lueders and Dave Selden, Descending Ashtray
- Roger von Oech, Creative Think

Carnival of the Creators #19
Carnival of the Creators #19 has been posted at Grackle Stew by Bobbi Chukran.
Bobbi notes that the carnival has just turned one year old. There were times when I didn't think it would make it, but it seems that now there is no shortage of submissions, probably enough to go to a twice monthly format. But there is still one thing missing, and that is where I need your help dear readers. What we need is more bloggers ready to volunteer to host an edition. So far I have hosted way too many editions on my own blogs, and most of the other entries have been done by a small circle of friends, sometimes more than once. A few strangers have stepped up to the plate, and enjoyed the experience. If everyone who has been featured in a carnival would host one too, I think we would all benefit by seeing a lot more exposure to our blogs.
Waiting for your e-mail, Derek.
